Striving to reinvent and reinterpret the visual language of motorsports, P1 Brand brings years of passionate experience to every product we concept and realize. We develop and produce our signature line Trackwares for motorsport enthusiasts around the world. Our Trackwares embody an unparalleled combination of technical and aesthetic knowledge, which brings unique results to all of our products.
Established in 2009 and based in Los Angeles, California, P1 Brand employs domestic and regional resources, whenever possible, in the development and fabrication of our products.
As Founder and Creative Director, J.Filipow has combined a lifelong passion of motorsports with decades of professional experience in art and design, to create P1 Brand.
"My fascination for all motorsports started at an early age," says the Indianapolis, Indiana native. "Childhood trips to the Indy 500, where I first witnessed the sights and sounds of motorsport competition, left an unforgettable impression on me."
Filipow has done commercial design work for international clients such as Nike/Air Jordan, Kobe Bryant/KB24.com, Adidas, Honda, Fender Guitars Custom Shop, Pepsico/Mountain Dew, Hurley, Matix Clothing, Monster Energy Drink, DC Shoes/Ken Block Gymkhana 3.0, The Berrics, Royal Elastics, Falcon Motorcycles, Independent Film Channel, G4TV, Loser Machine, Obey Clothing, Obey Giant Art, Studio Number One and more. In addition, he recently worked with, and appears in, the product placement-exposing documentary film, The Greatest Movie Ever Sold, directed by Academy Award Nominee, Morgan Spurlock.
From the spirit of the company and the visual identity, to the product concepts and the graphic design; P1 Brand is Filipow's vision for this unique and independent lifestyle label.
Filipow holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the Savannah College of Art and Design.
