During our recent European tour, we made a trip to the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art, located just outside of Copenhagen, Denmark. One of the exhibits on display was the work of German photographer Andreas Gursky, who creates hyper-real, color prints on a monumental scale. 

A beautiful short film shot in 1959 or 1960 on the Scarab F1, an all American effort car, testing at Riverside, California. Thanks to the folks at MotorSportRetro for the posting, where you can find more details on the segment.

Sam Posey is one of our favorite motorsport writer/commentators. Some may argue that he's achieved more success in this role than he ever did wheeling a race car, which he did only briefly in the early 1970's. These days, Posey is a regular contributor on SpeedTV's Formula 1 coverage and we especially enjoy Posey's Perspectives as seen on Formula 1 Debrief. Unfotunately, most of his on-air pieces are nowhere to be found online.
