Perhaps one of the most fascinating facets of Formula 1 is the technological aspect of these bespoke racing machines.

Under the continued leadership of Ross Brawn, the 2013 Mercedes AMG Petronas team is enjoying their most successful season to date. In addition, they continue to publish interesting webisodes that help to illustrate and educate their growing fan base. Check the above short as Rosberg and Hamilton explain what, how and when the KERS (Kinetic Energy Recovery System) operates in their respective cars.

Watch this fun little promo from F1 World Champions, Red Bull Racing, as Vettel and Webber go head to head in a friendly competition to decorate an RB9. Obviously, this was shot months before the "Multi 21" Malaysian GP incident that has caused a competitive rift between the two.

Remembering Aryton 19 Years On

On May 1, 1994, the legendary Aryton Senna lost his life whilst doing what he was born to do, pilot a Formula 1 car. One of his former teams, McLaren, pay homage to Senna with ten of his greatest moments. At the top of their list, Monaco. One of the most discussed driver/team lineup changes for the 2013 Formula 1 season has been Lewis Hamilton, who left his career-long position at McLaren Mercedes to join Nico Rosberg at Mercedes AMG Petronas. Replacing the 7-time World Champion, Michael Schumacher, who retired (again) at the conclusion of the 2012 season, Hamilton has already posted very competitive times in qualifying and consistent point-earning race results. No doubt, Ross Brawn and the Principals at Mercedes AMG Petronas are seeing immediate returns on their investment for 2013.

Rush Trailer

We've been watching the progress of Ron Howard's latest film, Rush, for the past several months. Based upon the true story of the 1976 Formula 1 battle between Niki Lauda and James Hunt, the official trailer has been released and it's looking great.

The feature length drama will be released in September and we hope it will help to spark public interest in the 2013 United States Formula Gran Prix.
